9-1 Blog: Multimedia Tools

Multimedia tools are the latest innovations in today's wave of transmitting technology. Multimedia tools are defined as "a collection of links, tips, and resources for using multimedia tools" (Aartech Resources, 2014). Multimedia has enhanced the messaging process by allowing it's users to utilize various methods of communication.

For example, in regards to smartphones, multimedia tools are used by allowing the user to copy, paste and or forward links, videos and other types of media content to other contacts for viewing. Other multimedia techniques are very beneficial for business purposes when used for mass media content exposure. Throughout my personal usage of multimedia tools, I've found that some applications are condensed when trying to access them via cellular phones. Specifically, Apple Inc's devices are not equipped for PDF files such as Adobe. In this instance, I utilize my Adobe reader app to convert and view the files.
